Patricia “Tricia” Fecile-Moreland is a Senior Partner with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. Tricia is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also admitted to practice in Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Tricia is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Professional Liability Underwriters Society.
Tricia graduated from Loyola College in Maryland in 1993, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Immediately after college, she served in the Jesuit Volunteer Corp, working in a shelter for battered women and children outside of Portland, Oregon. After she returned to the East Coast, Tricia continued working with at-risk populations as a caseworker in the Choice Program, which focused on adolescents in Baltimore, Maryland. Tricia attended Temple Law School, graduating in 1999. During law school, Tricia was a member of the Temple Law Review and served as Articles Editor during her third year. During law school Tricia clerked for the Honorable John T. J. Kelly of the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Following graduation from law school, Tricia worked as an assistant public defender in Philadelphia where she developed her skills as a trial attorney trying numerous cases to verdict.
Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2003, Tricia has represented clients in a variety of professional liability matters including legal, accounting, and real estate professional malpractice matters, as well as defense of environmental professionals, architects and engineers and non-for-profit boards in D&O litigation. She further focuses her practice on defending employers in claims arising out of wrongful termination before federal and state agencies as well as in federal and state court. Tricia is involved in the litigation of business and commercial disputes, including matters involving non-compete agreements and trade secrets violations. Tricia often counsels her clients in human resource matters including employment discrimination, FMLA and other employment practices.
In 2020, Tricia was part of the creation of a Diversity & Inclusion Committee at the Firm. She’s chaired the Committee since its inception. Tricia spearheaded Marks O’Neill’s participation in the Mansfield Rule for midsized firms. The Firm earned Mansfield Certification in June of 2023.
Tricia and her husband Damon live in Wyncote, Pennsylvania and are parents to a son and daughter who are in their fourth year of college. In her free time, Tricia enjoys reading, cooking and checking out the fabulous Philadelphia food scene.
