Noreen Kemether is a Partner with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Noreen graduated from Villanova University in 1983, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She was a full scholarship athlete and a member of the Women’s basketball team. She received an MBA from Drexel University. She attended Widener University’s School of Law, graduating in 1991. During law school, she was the Vice President of the student government and a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Society.
During law school, Noreen interned at an in house counsel firm for Cigna Insurance Companies. Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Noreen was an Associate at a prominent litigation firm defending professionals against claims of malpractice. She spent 13 years in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General defending State employers and employees in claims arising from wrongful termination, retaliation, and discrimination. She served as the Section Chief of the Employment Litigation Section and is a two-time recipient of the Attorney General’s Award for Excellence in trial litigation. For the past four years, Noreen has served in several Senior Staff positions within the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and has overseen all litigation and served as the Ethics Officer for the Commission.
Outside of work, Noreen has been a certified high school basketball official for over 35 years and enjoys traveling, fishing, bike riding and playing padel and pickleball.
