Julia McQuade is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
Julia graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She attended Quinnipiac School of Law, graduating in 2023, cum laude.
During law school, she participated in Moot Court and served as President in her 3L Year. She competed in the National Moot Court competition in her 2L and 3L years. She was awarded the Marci Karbone Moot Court Award for her dedication to the organization. Julia also served on the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal as a staff writer in her 2L year and then as a Note Editor in her 3L year. She was an active member of the Human Trafficking Prevention Project and served as the Training Chair during her 3L year. She graduated cum laude and received awards for Service to the Law School and Excellence in Legal Education.
During law school, Julia interned at the Quinnipiac Civil Justice Legal Clinic where she advocated for asylum clients. She clerked at several litigation firms where she gained experience handling criminal defense and insurance defense matters. Julia was also approved by the Court as a law student intern and successfully argued motions to the Court.
Since joining Marks O’Neill, Julia has represented clients in a variety of general litigation and professional liability matters.
Outside of work, Julia enjoys running, gardening, and building her matchbook collection from Philly restaurants.
