Jacob White is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Maryland office. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
Jake attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2013. During law school, he was Editor‑in‑Chief of the University of Baltimore Journal of Land & Development and spent two semesters interning with Judge Sally D. Adkins at the Maryland Court of Appeals.
Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2021, Jake has represented individuals and corporations in the defense of litigation pending in state and federal courts throughout both Maryland and D.C. He has extensive experience in litigation, particularly focusing on the defense of construction defect, premises liability, traumatic personal injury, and products liability claims, as well as insurance coverage disputes. Mr. White’s litigation background also includes experience defending employers and insurers in workers’ compensation claims in Maryland and D.C. He lives in Towson, Maryland with his wife and two children.
In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time with his family, reading, watching movies and sports, playing golf, and fishing. He played lacrosse at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina.
