J. Mark Pecci, II, is a Partner with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Supreme Court of New Jersey, United States District for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, United States District for the District of New Jersey and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mark graduated from Rutgers University in 1985, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then attended Temple University Law School, graduating in 1988. During law school, Mark was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and received Distinguished Classroom Performance Awards in Lawyering Process and Criminal Procedure. While in law school, Mark was a student law clerk for the Honorable James R. Cavenaugh of the Pennsylvania Superior Court where he reviewed pending appellate submissions, researched relevant legal issues, prepared bench memoranda and assisted the Judge in writing appellate decisions. In his senior year of law school, Mark participated in Clinical Programs appearing in Municipal Court for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and the Philadelphia Public Defender’s Association where he represented the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and criminal defendants, respectively.
Throughout his 30 years of practice, and continuing since joining Marks O’Neill, Mark has represented clients in complex and high exposure cases involving construction accidents, product liability, construction defect, negligent security, premises, auto/trucking accidents, fire loss, condominium disputes, first-party property loss and architectural and engineering malpractice.
Outside of the office, Mark enjoys good restaurants, vacationing with his family and driving his 1969 Corvette.
