Dejon Delpino is a Senior Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. Dejon is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. Tax Court, the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

Dejon graduated from Arizona State University in 2008, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with a minor in Mathematics. Dejon attended Rutgers School of Law, graduating in 2014.

During law school, Ms. Delpino was a Staff Editor on the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy, a New Jersey Trained Mediator in the Mediation Pro Bono Project, a Site Supervisor in the Rutgers – VITA Pro Bono Project, and Community Outreach Chair of the Association for Public Interest Law. Ms. Delpino also earned Rutgers School of Law Dean’s Pro Bono Publico Award for Exceptional Service for significant time committed to community service.

Ms. Delpino previously taught Legal Research and Writing to international graduate students as an adjunct professor at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.

Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Dejon was employed at Gowan Company as Global Head of Risk Management. Prior to that she was an associate attorney at a regional insurance defense firm in New York City. Ms. Delpino focused her practice on the defense of liability cases brought against insurance companies and self-insured entities. She gained considerable previous experience in the litigation of construction accidents, automobile accidents, trip and fall cases and coverage disputes. Ms. Delpino is also particularly knowledgeable in New York’s No-Fault law and has successfully defended hundreds of No-Fault claims.

At Marks O’Neill, Dejon has extensive experience with the litigation of general liability matters including matters brought under NY Labor Law §200, §240, & §241, premises liability, wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, automobile liability claims, and commercial trucking accidents as well as labor and employment law, and Child Victim’s Act matters. She also provides coverage opinions and litigates coverage disputes on a spectrum of matters.

Outside of work, Dejon enjoys yoga. Ms. Delpino is also a participant in the New York City running community and completed the New York City Marathon in 2021.
