Courtney Alleyne is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. She is admitted to practice in New York.
Courtney graduated from Villanova University in 2018, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management and international business, and a minor in marketing and Spanish. She attended Fordham University School of Law, graduating in 2021. During law school, she was awarded the Richard G. Haddad Scholarship. Courtney was a member of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and served as a 1L Student Advisor and 2L Peer Mentor. Courtney also served on the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal as an Associate Editor her 2L and 3L year.
Throughout law school, Courtney served as a research assistant for Professor Deborah Denno. Additionally, Courtney served as a legal intern for the Federal Litigation Clinic while at Fordham Law, and as a legal intern at Tuff City Records, an independent record label in New York City.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Courtney worked as an intellectual property and entertainment attorney, handling transactional entertainment, music, and intellectual property matters. She also was an attorney at a consumer debt firm, handling client’s settlement, negotiation and litigation matters.
Since joining Marks O’Neill, Courtney brings her experience to the Casualty, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Construction and Transportation practice groups.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys attending concerts, traveling, and exercising.
