Christian Scheuerman is a Partner with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s New Jersey office. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Courts of New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Christian graduated from the Colgate University in 2002, with a Bachelor’s degree in History. He then attended Vermont Law School, graduating magna cum laude and tenth in the class in 2007. During law school, Chris was awarded a Dean’s Scholarship. Following law school, Christian completed a clerkship in the New Jersey Superior Court with the Honorable E. David Millard (Ret.).
Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2011, Christian has represented clients in various types of professional liability cases, including medical, legal, nursing home, accountant, realtor, real estate appraiser and insurance broker malpractice actions. He also represents condominium associations and their boards of directors in individual and derivative lawsuits, defending claims such as alleged breaches of fiduciary duty and ultra vires conduct, and litigating issues relating to the general governance of condominium associations. Christian’s practice includes medical billing litigation, Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) claims.
