Bernadette Irace is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as the Federal District Courts of New Jersey and Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the New Jersey Bar Association’s Business and Commercial Litigation Committee.

Bernadette graduated from Temple University with a business Degree majoring in Risk Management & Insurance and Legal Studies. While in law school at Widener University Bernadette participated in a clinical externship with Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, Wills for Heroes, and received a Certificate of Achievement in Insurance Law.

During her last year of law school, Bernadette participated in the First Judicial District’s Fellowship Program where she worked for The Honorable Paul P. Panepinto, where she was exposed to several practice areas in civil law such as Contract Disputes, Land Use and Zoning, and Code Enforcement. The experience gave her a meaningful understanding of civil procedure and courtroom etiquette. 

Bernadette has extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate litigation, banking and title insurance for both national and regional financial institutions. She utilizes her expertise to counsel our clients and to structure a creative approach to litigation. She represents professionals and companies in the defense of professional liability claims at all judicial levels, including appeals in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey Appellate Divisions.

A former resident of South Philadelphia, Bernadette is a passionate Philadelphia sports fan.  In her free time, she enjoys heading to a game or going down the Jersey Shore.
