Amy Brown is Of Counsel with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. She is admitted to practice in Delaware.

Amy graduated from the Richard Stockton University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Prior to attending law school, she worked as an associate clinician in a psycho-social rehabilitation facility for chronically mentally ill adults. Amy then attended Widener University School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctorate. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk in a boutique firm specializing in corporate bankruptcy and general business litigation and later became associated with the firm.

Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Amy was an associate at a firm where her practices included commercial bankruptcy law and business litigation with a concentration on creditors’ rights. She routinely represented plaintiffs and defendants in avoidance actions under 11 U.S.C. Sections 547 and 548 as well as trade creditors, insurers, liquidating trustees, homeowner associations, banks, landlords and mortgage holders in matters pending before the United State Bankruptcy Court. She also represented businesses, credit unions, fiduciaries and individuals in breach of contract actions, landlord tenant disputes and debt collection matters. Prior to that, she worked as an associate at a regional firm representing debtors, secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy litigation matters, and insurance carriers in litigation involving workers compensation benefits. Throughout her practice, she has represented litigants in all Delaware state and Federal Courts.

Since joining Marks O’Neill, Amy has focused her practice on bankruptcy, casualty, employment law, construction and professional liability matters.
