Alexis Bueno-Wyse is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. Alexis is admitted to practice in New York.
Alexis graduated from Adelphi University in 2015, with a dual bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Alexis attended Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, graduating in 2019.
During law school, Alexis was awarded a Law Student Scholarship by the Dominican Bar Association. She had an externship with the Immigration Justice Clinic at John Jay Legal Services in White Plains, NY, where she gained experience in immigration law, family law and criminal law. Additionally, Alexis had an internship with The Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Practice in the Bronx, NY, where she gained further experience in criminal law.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Alexis was employed as a Staff Attorney with The Legal Aid Society, Bronx Criminal Defense Practice, where she represented New Yorkers facing a multitude of felony and misdemeanor charges.
Since joining Marks O’Neill, Alexis brings her experience to the Casualty, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Construction and Transportation practice groups.
Outside of work, Alexis, enjoys traveling, reading, and attending sporting events.
