Rosanna Vargas is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. She is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Rosanna graduated from Fordham University in 2008, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She attended Touro Law Jacob D. Fuschsberg Law Center, graduating in 2012. During law school, Rosanna was the recipient of the CALI Excellence Award for Exceptional Service to the Public and Community and was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta.
Prior to joining Mark O’Neill, Rosanna was a litigation associate at a national law firm, where she concentrated on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. She represented real estate developers, commercial landlords, construction and insurance companies in matters related to contracts law, product and premise liability, and in employment law.
In 2016, Rosanna was appointed by the New York City Council to be a Commissioner for the Board of Elections of the City of New York. In 2018, she was elected as the President of the Commissioners for the Board of Elections for the City of New York.
Rosanna was also a principal law clerk in the Unified Court System for the State of New York and the City of New York. As a law clerk, she gained experience in criminal law, criminal proceedings, personal injury, products liability, NY Labor Law, breach of contract matters, consumer protection, civil litigation and Child Victims Act matters.
At Marks O’Neill, Rosanna brings her experience to the Casualty, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Construction and Transportation practice groups.
Outside of work, Rosanna enjoys traveling and running.
