Kathryne L. Hemmings is Of Counsel with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has represented clients in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution.

Kathryne graduated cum laude from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in history. She earned her law degree cum laude from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she was an associate editor of the Drexel Law Review and president of the American Constitution Society.

Before joining Marks O’Neill, Kathryne managed complex civil matters involving construction defects, contracts, professional liability, and warranty claims at a regional litigation firm. Earlier in her career, she represented employers and employees in discrimination and harassment matters and advocated before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. She also litigated civil rights and Title IX claims. Kathryne began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Linda L. Lawhun in the Superior Court of New Jersey. She has experience representing parties on both sides of workplace disputes, from initial investigation through discovery, motion practice, mediation, and resolution.

At Marks O’Neill, Kathryne brings her extensive exposure to the professional liability and casualty liability practice groups.

Outside of work, Kathryne serves on the Advisory Board of the Summer Willis Foundation. She’s also an avid reader and enjoys cheering on the Clemson Tigers, the Eagles, and the Phillies.
