Jacob White is Of Counsel with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

Jake graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2013. During law school, he served as Editor in Chief of the University of Baltimore Journal of Land & Development and spent two semesters as a judicial intern to the Honorable Sally D. Adkins at the Supreme Court of Maryland. Since graduating law school, Jake’s practice has been focused almost exclusively in the area of civil litigation.

Since graduation, Mr. White has represented a wide variety of health care providers, including physicians, nurses, mental health and other allied professionals, and medical practices in the defense of medical malpractice claims. He has also represented defendants in numerous other types of professional liability claims. Jake’s experience includes the representation of individuals and corporations in the defense of civil litigation pending in both federal and state courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has experience handling construction defect claims, construction accident claims, premises liability claims, trucking and other traumatic personal injury claims, consumer protection actions, and insurance coverage disputes.

Prior to joining Marks, O’Neill, Mr. White’s litigation background also included experience defending employers and insurers in workers’ compensation claims in Maryland and D.C. He lives in Towson, Maryland with his wife and two children. In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time with his family and two children, reading, watching movies and sports, playing golf, and fishing.
