Thomas M. Pié is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Pittsburgh office. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals Third Circuit, the Western District of Pennsylvania, and both the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. He is also a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the West Virginia Bar Association, and Young Catholic Professionals of Pittsburgh.
Tom graduated cum laude from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2013, and he attended Duquesne University School of Law, graduating in 2016. During law school, Tom earned the CALI Award in Trial Advocacy and Tax Exempt Organizations, along with the Law School Mission Award and the Susan H. Wilkie Award for Professional Responsibility and Ethics in the Practice of Law. Tom also gathered in-house experience at ServiceLink, a national mortgage servicer. There, he provided legal research and support on contract, compliance, risk, and corporate legal matters.
Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2016, Tom has represented clients in product liability, FDCPA, class action, constitutional, professional liability, construction accident and defect, transportation, toxic tort, dram shop, and personal injury matters. He focuses his practice in general defense, specifically products liability, professional liability, toxic tort, and personal injury matters.
Tom enjoys fly fishing, traveling and spending time with his family, and playing hockey. Tom and his family currently live in the North Hills of Pittsburgh.
