Shania Felix is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. She is admitted to practice in New York.

Shania graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2017, with a bachelor’s degree in Law and Society. She attended Pace Law School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2020. During law school, Shania was an Associate and a Promotions Editor for the Pace International Law Review. She also was awarded a Merit Scholarship, was the Chair of the Community Engagement Committee, and served President of the Honor Board. She is also the founder of a Mentorship Program providing assistance in mentoring the youth. 

During law school, Shania interned in the Pace Criminal Defense Clinic, working as a student attorney defending those accused of crimes in Bronx, NY. She also interned for the Family Court Legal Program at Pace Women’s Justice Center, White Plains, NY, where she directly assisted victims of domestic violence in obtaining emergency orders of protection. Further, she was a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge La Tia Martin in New York State Supreme Court, 12th Judicial District. Finally, her law school career consisted of her being a Research Assistant for two Law Professors, conduct legal research to in both Prisoner’s Rights and Juvenile Rights law.

Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Shania worked as an Assistant County Attorney for the Westchester County Attorney’s Office as well as an Assistant District Attorney for the Bronx District Attorney’s Office specializing in the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Unit.

At Marks O’Neill, Shania brings brings her experience to the Casualty, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Construction and Transportation practice groups.

Outside of work, Shania enjoys dancing and embracing her Caribbean culture. Shania gives back to the community as a Debate Coach for Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School’s Speech and Debate Team.
