Richard A. Ochran is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Maryland Office. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
Richard graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2015, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He attended the University of Maryland School of Law, graduating in 2018. During law school, he was on the editorial board for the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy and was the Student Supervising Attorney for the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic.
During law school Richard was a summer associate at regional insurance defense firm in Buffalo, New York. There he gained experience in premises liability, mass tort, and business and commercial litigation.
After law school, Richard was a judicial law clerk in the Circuit Court for Somerset County for the Honorable Judge Daniel W. Powell. Since joining Marks O’Neill, Richard has represented clients in matters of general liability.
Richard enjoys going bowling, finding new restaurants, and supporting the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Lakers.
