Noeleen R. Urmson is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s New Jersey office. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia Bar Associations.
Noeleen graduated cum laude from Immaculata University in 2008, with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. She attended Temple University Beasley School of Law as a Beasley Scholar, graduating cum laude in 2019. During law school, she was a member of the Temple Law Moot Court Competition Team, a Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society Fellow, and President of the Student Wellness Association.
During law school, Noeleen interned with the Honorable Robert B. Kugler in the United States District Court of New Jersey, Camden, where she conducted extensive research and substantially contributed to opinions on a wide variety of issues, including claims for employment discrimination under Title VII and for violations of Section 1983, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Noeleen served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Sandra Lopez, J.S.C. in Gloucester and Salem Counties, New Jersey.
Noeleen represents our clients in professional liability and employment matters. She focuses her practice on complex employment matters including claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation before both State and Federal Courts as well as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and New Jersey Division of Civil Rights. She has special focus in various types of professional liability matters, including claims against attorneys, accountants, and insurance brokers.
Outside of work, Noeleen enjoys crafting, singing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
