Michael Kozak is a Senior Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly, P.C.  He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California and Hawaii.

Michael was born and raised in Morrisville, Pennsylvania and graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1998.  He attended Pepperdine University School of Law, graduating in 2002.  During law school, he served as a Staff Member of the National Association of Administrative Law Judges, followed by serving as the Student Articles Editor.  Michael was awarded a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution upon graduation in 2002. 

Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Michael practiced in Pennsylvania and Hawaii for over 20 years defending insurance claims for employment & housing discrimination, workers’ compensation and medical malpractice.  Michael has also represented the interests of boards of directors for condominiums and cooperatives.  Michael is a trained mediator, court-appointed arbitrator and regular speaker for the National Business Institute providing accredited continuing legal education credits to practicing legal professionals. 

Since joining Marks O’Neill, Michael has focused his practice on healthcare, employment, and professional liability matters.

Outside of professional practice, Michael enjoys drumming/percussion, cycling and is an avid automobile enthusiast.
