Kathryn Siegeltuch is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s New Jersey office. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Kathryn graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University in 2016, with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She attended Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, graduating in 2019. During law school, she was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and was a recipient of the Dorothy Day Pro Bono Award. Kathryn also served on the Villanova Environmental Law Journal as a staff writer in her 2L year and then as the Production Editor in her 3L year. As a staff writer, Kathryn authored the article “No Harm, No Foul: How the Ninth Circuit’s Decision in Ground Zero Center for Non-Violent Action v. United States Department of the Navy Essentially Weakens the EIS as an Enforcement Mechanism of NEPA,” 29 Vill. Envtl. L. J. 369 (2018).
During law school, Kathryn interned at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Law, in the Employment Counseling & Labor section. Additionally, Kathryn served as a judicial extern for the Honorable David R. Strawbridge, Magistrate Judge, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and as an intern at the City of Philadelphia Law Department in the Appeals Unit.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Kathryn clerked for the Honorable Aimee R. Belgard, P.J. Cv., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington County. During her clerkship, Kathryn also served as a Court trained settlement facilitator, handling disputes in Special Civil and Landlord-Tenant matters.
Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2020, Kathryn has focused her practice on defending professionals against claims of malpractice. She defends employers in claims arising from wrongful termination, retaliation and discrimination. Kathryn represents municipal and public entities. She also represents corporations and professionals in claims arising from cyber risk.
Outside of work, Kathryn enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and listening to podcasts.
