Julie L. Mer is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Westchester County office.
Julie graduated with Honors and Distinction from The University of Wisconsin at Madison with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. She then attended Fordham University School of Law, graduating in 2003. During law school, Julie was a member of the mock trial competition team, Moore Scholars, and a member of the International Law Journal.
Since earning her law degree, Julie has focused her practice on civil litigation, primarily in the areas of insurance defense and toxic tort litigation. She has extensive experience representing and defending companies in asbestos litigation, and representing insurance providers, companies and individuals in personal injury actions, in both federal and state courts.
A former actress, Julie enjoys going to the theatre, watching films and reading fiction in her spare time. She received an acting diploma from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
