Joseph M. Samuels is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Westchester office. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and New York.
Joseph graduated from Washington College in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in History. He attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2019. During law school, he was a staff editor on the University of Baltimore Law Review.
During law school, Joseph interned for the Honorable Shirley M. Watts for the Maryland Court of Appeals, the Honorable Michael Wachs for the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, and the Maryland Office of the Attorney General Organized Crime Unit. From these opportunities, he gained hands-on experience in a wide variety of legal matters.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Joseph clerked for the Honorable Fred. S. Hecker, Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Carroll County, Maryland.
Since joining Marks, O’Neill in 2020, Joseph has focused his practice on defending clients in matters of general liability, premises liability and construction accidents.
Outside of work, Joseph enjoys reading, travelling, hiking, music and hockey.
