Joseph R. Abergel is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. Joseph is admitted to practice in New York State.

Joseph graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2022, and received his undergraduate degree at SUNY Binghamton, where he majored in Political Science, graduating in 2018.

During law school, Joseph interned at a financial industry trade group in Washington D.C., and externed at a law firm specializing in FINRA Arbitration, representing plaintiffs in securities fraud cases.

Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Joseph was employed at Legal Services of Long Island, a regional non-profit providing legal representation to indigent defendants in civil cases.

At Marks O’Neill, Joseph brings his experience to the Casualty, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Construction and Transportation practice groups.

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys soccer, basketball and reading novels.
