Joanna Zwosta is an Associate Attorney with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s New York City Office. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Joanna graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2014, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She attended Penn State Law, graduating in 2017. During law school, she was awarded with CALI Awards for the highest grades in Copyrights and Agricultural Law and was a recipient of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s 2017 Environmental Law Forum Law Student Scholarship.
During law school, Joanna served for two semesters as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Matthew W. Brann, United States District Court Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, where she gained significant legal research and writing experience. Following her first year of law school, Joanna served as a legal intern at the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Law. Following her second year of law school, Joanna served as a legal intern at the United States Environmental Protection Agency in its New York City regional office.
After law school, Joanna joined the New York State Office of the Attorney General’s Environmental Protection Bureau, where she worked on a variety of matters and gained significant investigative and trial preparation experience.
In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
