Jacob N. Holden is an associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Pittsburgh office. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the U. S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Jacob graduated from West Liberty University in 2014. He attended West Virginia University College of Law, graduating in 2018. During law school, he was an associate editor of the West Virginia Law Review and a member of the Supreme Court Clinic. Additionally, he served as a tutor for first year civil procedure classes. As a member of the law review he authored “Better Late Than Never: Bringing the Data Security Regulatory Environment into the Modern Era.” 121 W. Va. L. Rev. (forthcoming Jan. 2019).
During law school he worked as a summer law clerk for Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly, P.C.’s Pittsburgh office. Throughout those summers, Jacob gained significant experience with Personal Injury, Employment, Breach of Contract and other complex litigation matters. Since becoming an Associate in 2018, Jacob has focused on general defense, and represented clients in product liability, transportation, toxic tort, construction, and personal injury.
Outside of the office, Jacob enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring nearby state and national parks, and volunteering with a local amateur astronomy club.
