Jack R. Spitz is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s New Jersey office. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
Jack graduated from Clemson University in 2014, with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He then attended Rutgers School of Law, Newark, and graduated in 2017. During law school, he was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, was a member of the Women’s Law Forum, and served as an editor on the Rutgers Law Record Journal.
During law school, Jack interned with the Essex County Public Defender’s Office and worked for other small, private practices.
Prior to joining Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly, P.C., Jack clerked for the Honorable Phillip L. Paley, J.S.C., and Sheree V. Pitchford at the Middlesex County Superior Court in New Brunswick, New Jersey. During his clerkship, Jack also served as a court trained settlement facilitator, handling disputes in Special Civil and Landlord-Tenant matters. Subsequently, Jack worked at a mid-size Insurance Defense Firm in Cherry Hill and a Plaintiff’s Employment Law Firm in Mount Laurel.
Since joining Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly in 2022, Jack has focused his practice on general liability defense.
Outside of work, Jack enjoys watching sports and golfing.
