Ian Toth is a Senior Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. Ian is admitted to practice in New York.
Ian graduated from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in East Islip, New York. Previously, Ian attended SUNY Stony Brook, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. During law school, Ian was the President of the Intellectual Property Law Society. He was also the CALI Award winner (highest grade) for his section in Professional Responsibility Seminar, as well as for First Amendment Seminar instructed by former New York State Court of Appeal Chief Judge Sol Wachtler.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Ian worked with regional litigation firms handling a variety of civil defense matters. Ian brings decades worth of civil and commercial defense litigation experience to his practice, and has extensive experience with general liability, premises liability and construction accident claims arising under Labor Law 200, 240(1) and 241(6).
Since joining Marks O’Neill, Ian brings his experience to the Casualty, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Construction and Transportation practice groups.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Jessica, and their four wonderful children.
