Gary L. Koenigsberg is a Partner with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
Gary graduated from the University of Virginia in 1988, with a degree in Government. He then attended Cornell Law School, graduating in 1991. During law school, Gary was involved as a participant and Judge in the Moot Court competition and was active in the Cornell Law School Legal Aid Clinic.
Gary has wide ranging experience in complex civil litigation and has tried cases in the state and federal courts dealing with shareholder disputes in closely held corporations, partnership disputes, real estate contract, lease and easement disputes, real estate foreclosure, personal injury and premises liability for both the plaintiff and defense, professional malpractice, construction litigation, estate litigation, condominium association representation and healthcare law litigation.
Previously, Gary clerked for the Honorable Robert W. O’Hagan, JSC in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth County. Gary has been serving on the District VC Ethics Committee since September 2022.
Outside of work, Gary enjoys attending professional and college sports events, being a Bruce Springsteen fan, and reading science fiction and historical biographies.
