Gabrielle D’Amato is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. Gabrielle is admitted to practice in New York.
Gabrielle graduated from Fordham University, with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. She then attended Brooklyn Law School.
During law school, Gabrielle was awarded a C.A.L.I. award for Employment Law and was chosen to be part of Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic, where she assisted providing legal services to startups and helped lead a research project on pioneering uses of blockchain technologies. She interned in the legal department of a global engineering and manufacturing company and worked as a summer law clerk for a boutique intellectual property firm. Gabrielle also worked as a teaching assistant for legal writing and criminal law and volunteered as a student advisor to first-year law students.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill as an Associate, Gabrielle worked as in-house counsel for a global risk, compliance, investigations firm. She drafted and negotiated the firm’s client and vendor contracts and managed the firm’s compliance with domestic and international data protection laws as well as with FCRA. Gabrielle also collaborated closely with Human Resources on employment matters and provided advice to the firm’s Information Security department and Risk Committee. Prior to law school, Gabrielle worked as a Paralegal at Marks O’Neill.
At Marks O’Neill, Gabrielle brings her experience to the Casualty, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Construction and Transportation practice groups.
Outside of work, Gabrielle enjoys photography, reading, traveling, and birding.
