Evan Montes-Dawson is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s New York City Office. She is admitted to practice law in New York.
Evan graduated from the University of Oregon in 2017, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Spanish, with a concentration in Sports Business and a Certification in Global Management with an area focus in Latin America. In 2021, she graduated cum laude from Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee. During law school, she was a member of the Belmont Law Review. In 2020, she received the Don and Gayle Harris Award of the Tennessee Judicial Conference Scholarship Fund of East Tennessee Foundation.
During law school, Evan was a judicial intern for the judges of the 21st Judicial District, Williamson County Circuit Court. While in this position she worked closely in chambers with the Circuit Court judges, and had the ability to review motions, draft memorandums of law and draft Orders.
Prior to joining Marks, O’Neill, Evan worked as a Certified Law Student at the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office in Portland, Oregon. Operating under a limited license, in this position she drafted motions, responded to discovery requests, and made daily court appearances including voir dire, and jury trials.
