Erica C. Johnson is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Philadelphia office. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Erica graduated from the Ohio State University in 2007, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Before attending law school at the University of New Hampshire School of Law, graduating in 2011, Erica worked in business for an American fashion brand. During law school, she was a Senior Editor for the University of New Hampshire Law Review, a Public Interest Coalition Fellowship recipient, and a participant in the Intellectual Property Summer Institute and Consumer and Commercial Law Clinic. She also interned with the City of Philadelphia Law Department Tax Unit and served as an In House Counsel Extern with Applied Extrusion Technologies, Inc.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Erica served as a legal attaché to the Delaware State Legislature and clerked for the Honorable Gary S. Glazer and the late Honorable Albert J. Snite, Jr. the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Commerce Program.
Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2015, Erica has represented clients in the area of general liability. She focuses her practice on construction defects, premises liability, transportation, and environmental cases.
Erica is a docent at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and a Board Member on the Philadelphia Museum of Art Weekend Guide Board. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens. She also volunteers at the Free Library of Philadelphia. Erica enjoys boxing, running, and swimming.
