Edward O’Connell is Of Counsel with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. Edward is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Edward graduated from Allegheny College in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, graduating cum laude in 1989.  During law school, Edward served on the Editorial Board of Pittsburgh’s Law Review.

Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Edward practiced with major Pittsburgh law firms handling a variety of civil defense litigation matters.  He also served as in-house counsel with a global industrial management company, managing environmental and other corporate legacy liabilities across the United States and Canada.

Since joining Marks O’Neill, Edward brings his experience to the Casualty, Professional Liability, Construction, Toxic Tort, and Transportation practice groups.

Outside of work, Edward enjoys running, golf and remains a lifelong student of the classical guitar.
