Daniel F. Donnelly is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Philadelphia office. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the Virgin Islands, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Dan graduated from Penn State University in 2009 with a degree in Information Sciences and Technology. He then attended Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and received the Barrister and Outstanding Oral Advocate Awards for his performance in the integrated trial advocacy program. During law school, Dan also interned for the Appellate Section of the California Attorney General’s Office.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Dan was an associate at a regional defense firm. He has represented individuals, companies, and municipal entities in litigation involving traumatic personal injuries, toxic torts, electric shock, insurance coverage, bad faith, and professional liability. Dan has extensive experience in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. He has briefed and argued appeals before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the California Courts of Appeal, the Virgin Islands Supreme Court, and Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also successfully tried several cases to verdict.
Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2019, Dan has represented clients in a range of civil and commercial disputes. He concentrates his practice in the areas of appellate litigation, professional liability, insurance coverage, general liability, and municipal and public entity liability. Dan is also a member of Marks O’Neill’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Outside the office, Dan enjoys golfing and spending time with friends and family. He is also a passionate, process-trusting Philadelphia sports fan.
