Daniel D. Flynn is a Partner with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. He is admitted to practice before the Courts in the State of New York, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Dan graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then attended Pace University School of Law and graduated in 1992 and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Trial Practice Award. During law school Dan worked with a New York City based civil litigation defense firm which he later joined upon graduating law school and where he tried his first jury trials. Dan has tried many jury trials to verdict with a strong win rate, has also handled many appellate arguments and obtained a significant number of dismissals through motion practice.
Dan has represented many professionals, including accountants, dentists, physical therapist, nurses, nurse practitioners, medical doctors, other healthcare professionals and a wide variety of long-term care facilities in all facets of alleged elder abuse and medical malpractice claims. He has also represented individuals, municipalities, corporations, and entities in a wide variety of litigated matters including many complex and high exposure cases such as wrongful death actions, labor law claims, toxic tort claims, premises liability, elevator accidents, traumatic brain injuries, lead based paint hazards, other negligence claims, product liability, assault claims, premises security, automobile accidents, and breach of contract actions.
In Dan’s free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, three sons and family, exercising, and cycling.
