Damon A. Pace is Of Counsel with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. Damon is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland.
Damon graduated Florida A&M University in 1990, with a B.S. in Business Administration. He graduated from the Howard University School of Law in 1993 with his J.D. While in law school, Damon participated in Howard’s Labor & Employment Law Clinic, where he gained valuable experience in counseling clients. Damon joined Marks O’Neill after many years in the public sector where, as an Assistant Attorney General, he gained extensive litigation and trial experience in the state and federal courts of Maryland and Washington, D.C., in addition to administrative agencies such as the Merit Systems Protection Board.
As of August 2020, Damon has been a member of the Character Committee for the Maryland State Board of Law Examiners, where he conducts investigations, interviews, and when necessary, hearings into the character and fitness of applicants to the Bar of Maryland.
Since joining Marks O’Neill, Damon has represented employers before the EEOC and various state and local agencies throughout Maryland, as well as a variety of licensed professionals, both in court and before administrative agencies.
Outside of work, Damon enjoys exploring local estuaries, takes Muay Thai classes and avidly follows professional football. .
