Chloe Gartside is an Associate at Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly.  She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Utah.

Chloe has a proven track record of defending carriers and effectively managing complex caseloads. Chloe advances her clients’ defense by adopting a comprehensive strategy premised on a deep understanding of the law and aggressive innovative strategies. She handles all aspects of pre-litigation claims and litigation in state and federal courts, from the first notice of claim throughout the life of a litigation and appeal. Chloe has vast experience handling a diverse set of claims including professional liability, products liability, employment litigation, nursing home negligence, consumer fraud, catastrophic personal injury, and trucking liability matters. Chloe has also defended municipalities in civil litigation claims brought under the Pennsylvania Subdivision Tort Claims Act and has represented health care providers in personal injury protection (PIP) arbitrations. With her complex understanding of the law and aggressive style of defense she has a proven track record of favorable outcomes.

Chloe obtained her law degree from the University of South Carolina where she won the CALI Award for achieving the highest grade in her evidence class and made the President’s List and Dean’s List as well.  Prior to obtaining her Juris Doctorate, Chloe obtained her Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Temple University, magna cum laude, where she majored in both English and International Politics.  Chloe won numerous awards for her research papers written for the political science department and presented her work in Temple University’s Undergraduate Research Forum (“TURF”).  In addition, in her junior year at Temple University, Chloe won a scholarship to study abroad in Tokyo, Japan and achieved the highest grade in her Japanese language class without having prior knowledge of the language.

Prior to her admission to the bar, Chloe was a legal intern for the Defender Association of Philadelphia and the Delaware County Public Defender’s Office. Her diverse experience provides her with an insightful strategic approach in defending clients. 

In her spare time, Chloe enjoys reading, writing, and traveling.  She especially enjoys traveling to Morocco and Turkey, where she holds dual citizenship.  Chloe also has a black belt in Tang So Doo, which obtained when she was 14 years old.
