Brian P. Shotts is an Associate Attorney with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Cherry Hill office. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Brian Shotts graduated from Union College in 2008, with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He attended the Kline School of Law at Drexel University, graduating in 2014. During law school, he was awarded the Firstrust Bank Award in Business and Entrepreneurship and concentrated in Business and Entrepreneurship.
During law school he interned at two county prosecutor’s offices as well as a local logistics company. After law school, Brian worked at a small South Jersey law firm, concentrating his practice in labor and employment, municipal law and representation, affordable housing compliance, as well as small business representation, transactional law and contract enforcement. Brian has appeared and prevailed in front of both the New Jersey Appellate Division and the New Jersey Council on Unfunded Mandates.
Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2019, Brian has represented clients in our professional liability practice group. Brian focuses his practice on employment law defending civil actions, Equal Employment Opportunity Council (“EEOC”) claims as well as labor and employment cases on behalf of the employer. These include claims of discrimination, workplace harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination. Additionally, Brian handles professional liability and malpractice cases, representing professionals who are being sued in their official capacity.
With Marks O’Neill, Brian continues his practice handling both constitutional claims cases as well as class action lawsuits.
Brian enjoys skiing, reading and lives in Philadelphia. Brian grew up living in Istanbul, Turkey.
