Michael Wasicko is Of Counsel with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Mike graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He graduated from Rutgers University with a PhD. in Biomedical Engineering. Mike also attended the University of Maryland School of Law, where he received his J.D. with Honors.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Mike worked at a regional litigation firm for more than 18 years, where he focused his practice on defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in products liability cases and defending health care providers in medical malpractice cases. Next, Mike worked at the U.S. Food & Drug Administration as Associate Chief Counsel, where he represented the FDA in litigations involving pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and challenges to FOIA requests. Finally, Mike worked for an international litigation firm, where his practice focused on defending healthcare providers in medical malpractice cases.
Since joining Marks O’Neill, Michael brings his experience to the Casualty, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Construction and Transportation practice groups.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys boating and fishing with his wife and (now adult) children, baking, and spending time with his 2 English Setters.
