Melissa Brown and Amanda King of our New Jersey office were successful in obtaining a Court Order denying Plaintiff leave to amend the Complaint. Plaintiff alleged constitutional claims of deliberate indifference to his medical needs pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 1983 against our clients. Previously we were successful on obtaining dismissal of the Complaint. Plaintiff filed a Motion for Leave to Amend the Complaint which we opposed arguing that such an amendment would be futile. The Court denied Plaintiff’s Motion for Leave to Amend and the Complaint remains dismissed as to our clients.
