Megan Donovan is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Philadelphia office. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Megan graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 2013, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Intelligence. Later, she attended the University of Richmond School of Law, graduating in 2016. During law school, Megan was the Executive Editor of the University of Richmond Public Interest Law Review and a member of the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board. Also while in law school, Megan interned with the Legal Information Network for Cancer, where she gained valuable experience in understanding clients goals and concerns, while assisting individuals suffering from cancer with legal issues from family and estate planning to health insurance coverage disputes, to landlord-tenant issues. She also interned with Marks O’Neill, where she had the opportunity to observe and assist in the litigation of a variety of claims.
Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2016, Megan has represented clients in professional liability claims, including doctors, nurses, physician assistants, and healthcare facilities in medical malpractice cases and mental and behavioral health cases. She has also honed her skills handling general liability claims, including premises liability, products liability, and dram shop cases. She focuses her practice in general and professional liability, where she has gained experience with all phases of litigation from discovery through trial preparation.
