Elizabeth Giannotti is Of Counsel with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly’s Philadelphia office. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and New York. She also a member of the Pennsylvania and New York Bar Associations.
Elizabeth graduated from the University of Scranton in 2002, with dual Bachelors degrees in English and History. She then attended Pennsylvania State Dickinson School of Law, graduating in 2005. During law school, she was awarded the Lackawanna County Lawyer Auxiliary and Myron Pinkus Scholarships. She also interned at an insurance defense firm, where she gained experience drafting motions and briefs and performing legal research. After graduating from law school, Elizabeth completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Vito P. Geroulo in the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Elizabeth had worked at an insurance defense law firm for almost ten years defending medical professionals and facilities including healthcare professionals in mass litigation.
Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2015, Elizabeth has represented clients in medical malpractice, nursing home and premises liability claims. She focuses her practice on healthcare and professional liability claims. Elizabeth also has an extensive experience preparing legal memoranda including appeals.
Elizabeth enjoys playing the piano, and lives in Montgomery County with her husband, Mark, and their four children.
