Robin Sammer Behn is Of Counsel with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. Robin admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Courts for New Jersey. 

Robin graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1999 and was admitted to the New Jersey bar, December of that same year. During Law School, Robin was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta and competed in the Moot Court competitions. 

Following law school, Robin entered private practice with local firms gaining experience in insurance defense litigation representing supermarkets and other retail establishments. As a litigator, her experience spans a broad spectrum of cases including premise liability, product liability, transportation, construction litigation, employment law and worker’s compensation. Her niche is tort litigation defending national retailers, commercial companies, supermarkets, and municipalities.  

Robin also represented ride-share companies when the Transportation Network Act was enacted and effectively guided her clients in the new and innovative legal challenges.

Throughout her career, Robin has litigated a broad range of matters involving complex expert discovery issues. Robin prides herself on identifying and pursuing innovative approaches to the defense of her clients. She also participated in mediations on high exposure cases.

Currently, Robin represents global, national, and local companies in complex tort and general casualty matters, including transportation, premises liability and product liability. While primarily representing retail establishments, Robin has a deep understanding of the issues specific to the self-service stores and is able to resolve issues early, often securing dismissals via summary judgment. 

Outside of work, Robin enjoys watching her three children excel both academically and athletically. She is an avid football and hockey fan.
