Lester Xu is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
Lester graduated from CUNY Hunter College in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in media studies and communications. He attended Rutgers Law School-Newark, graduating cum laude in 2021. During law school, he served as an associate editor for the Rutgers Law Record.
During law school, Lester interned for the Honorable Justice Doris Ling-Cohan at the New York County Supreme Court, Appellate Term, First Department. Additionally, Lester interned for the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor and worked as a student attorney at the Rutgers Community & Transactional Lawyering Clinic.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neil, Lester served as an Associate at a New Jersey litigation firm where he represented employers, self-insured companies, and insurance carriers in all stages of litigation.
At Marks O’Neill, Lester brings his experience to the Casualty, Healthcare, Professional Liability, Construction and Transportation practice groups.
Outside of work, Lester enjoys playing baseball, attending comedy shows and concerts, singing karaoke with friends, binge-watching TV shows, and listening to audio books.
