Aaron Dunbar is an Associate with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly, P.C.’s Philadelphia office. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia.
Aaron earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore in 2010, where he graduated magna cum laude. He attended North Carolina Central University School of Law, graduating in 2013. During law school, he was a staff editor for the North Carolina Central University Law Review and participated in the Veterans Law Clinic, Criminal Defense Clinic and Small Business Clinic.
While attending law school, Aaron gained experience as an intern for the Honorable Karen Shreeves-Johns in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Criminal Division.
Prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Aaron served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where he was assigned to the Major Trials Division. As an Assistant District Attorney, he tried both bench and jury trials to verdict and has prosecuted violent felony offenses, misdemeanors and sexual assaults involving minors.
Aaron loves modern and contemporary art and enjoys road cycling.
